Project: Audience Discourse on Bangladeshi Artists Research Client
Operator: Tahia Anan Dhira, independent researcher
Last updated: 10 October 2026

This is a non-commercial, non-funded, independent academic research project. It uses the YouTube Data API v3 to retrieve publicly available comments from a defined set of Bangladeshi artists’ and entertainment channels, for aggregate analysis of audience discourse.

What is accessed. Only public data returned by the API, such as comment text, comment dates, and video and channel identifiers. The project does not access private accounts, does not ask YouTube users to sign in or authorize anything, and does not offer a service to the public.

How it is used. The data is analyzed for aggregate patterns, such as sentiment and topic statistics. Only aggregate findings are reported.

What is shared. Raw comments and commenter identifiers are not published, sold, or redistributed.

Storage. API data is stored on the researcher’s own devices and handled in line with the YouTube API Services Developer Policies.

Removal requests. If you wrote a comment and want it excluded from this research, contact the email below.

Use of YouTube API Services is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s data practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy.
